Springtime in Kansas

Well today was a LOVELY day in Kansas. It reached up to almost 50 degrees! The sun was shining, sweet breezes, birds singing and happy... what a day. I'm afraid though that we're in for a rude awakening back into Winter temps. Oh well, I'll just be happy for this day.

More dollies to show you. Hope you enjoy them.

This is Gracie Mae Iddie Biddie... she says "God Bless You"

Louisa Dawn is only 7 1/2" tall, she's wearing all neutrals... very prim if you ask me. Her Ornie says, "Simplify".

Sweet 'Ums is just a breezy, sweet Springtime dollie. She also reminds us to "Simplify".

Morgan Alise Raggedy is such a sweetheart. She states on her Ornie, "I Am Loved".

Donnita Jo Iddie Biddie has a little friend... a Spring Chick. Her little dress is made from the cutest fabric, it's Navy Blue w/ tiny Yellow Chicks all over it.

If you get a moment, take a look at the bottom of this blog. I added a Slideshow of some photos of our home Decor. We have quite a collection of Primitives.. some old, some new.. all treasures.
God Bless you all,

Scriptures, Sisters, & Sweeties

Hello again. It's very early Saturday morning. Woke up with a scripture in my mind that has been present there for days. I'll share...

Trust in the Lord with all your heart & lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him & He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5

Why God is filling my brain with this particular scripture is a mystery and blessing all at the same time. I'm just going to thank Him for it and share it as often as possible. Praise His holy name.

We have had a short respite from SNOW, and I am very thankful for it. Here in Kansas we have had the wettest, whitest Winter on record.. for over 100 years. It's still COLD (morning temps have been below zero wind chills), but at least it's dry. The sun is a welcome sight. I'm sure in a few months we'll be wishing for a break from the HEAT.

Here's a few more dolls I have finished and listed on eBay.

This is Faith Noelle. Her Ornie is a Scripture..."I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me...".

Maizee Lou Cat is a sweet little feline. Her Ornie says, "Simplify".

Betsie Anne Bunny has a tiny woven Basket with speckled eggs, oh... and she also tells all to "Simplify".

Theresa has a beautiful dress that is made from some of the loveliest toile fabric I have ever seen. It's a Delft Blue print with tiny scenes of boating and play... probably from early in the 20th century. I had a wonderful friend of the same name that went home to be with the Lord years ago. We all miss her.

Last (but not least) I have a set of 2 Raggedy Sisters. Lisa & Kelly Raggedys are dressed alike, Kelly is smaller because she is the younger sister. I named them after two Sisters I have known since childhood.

I hope my post finds you happy, healthy, & basking in God's love.

Please come again,
Penny

Long time no see...

I'm so sorry I've been 'away' from my blog for so long. I could claim that it's because our family moved.. that was a hideous chore and did keep me away from the computer a while. I could say that I've just been so busy... well, that's true, busy with trying to make up for lost time making dolls. I'm almost back up to speed now though. I'm afraid that the biggest reason though is because I'm hooked on Facebook. Doggone it...so many friends there, so much to read, so much to do (games, etc.)... it's addicting. Hello... my name is Penny and I'm a Facebook addict!

How was your Valentine's Day? Our's was spent unpacking a mountain or two of boxes from our move. Ick.. not exactly romantic. I did make and sell a lot of Valentine's Day themed dolls though.

Now I'm making St. Patrick's Day dolls. Lots of Irish people out there, thank God!

Next will be Easter and bunnies have been on my creative menu already.

Here's a few dollies I have listed on eBay right now.

Ciaran Aberdeen (don't you just love her name??).

Sinead McGowan.. (another cool name).

Linda Jo Iddie Biddie Kittie.

Caroline Iddie Biddie Kittie

Tawnie Mae Raggedy & Trixie Sheep Her listing actually ends tonight (Wed. 2/24)

Thanks for dropping by. Missed you all and missed your sweet comments.
Oh.. I'm trying to put together a Blog Giveaway. Just have to set my mind to it, right? Would anyone like that?

Been a long time.....

Happy New Year!

I know, I know.... I haven't posted in a long time. I'm sorry! I'll try to catch up.

Here's the kind of weather we've been dealing with in Kansas.... ICK.

That photo was taken on Dec. 26th. We have had just about DOUBLE that amount of snow since then. Our wind chill temp. is -20 degrees this morning, and with the high winds the snow is blowing and drifting dangerously.

On a lighter note.. I've been making Valentine Dolls & Bowl Fillers. This is Melinda Iddie Biddie & her Sheep, Mopsie. They will make their debut tonight on eBay.

Violet is a little Valentine Clown. I've been making a whole gaggle of Clowns this year. Violet, and her cousin, Bettie Sue Valentine Bunny Clown are on eBay right now.

These little Valentine Heart Bowl Fillers/Tucks say, "I Love You" in 6 different languages (English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, German & French). They have been a popular item this year.

Lucia Marie Raggedy & Lollipop Sheep will be listed on eBay tonight. These little sets are just selling like mad! I will make one, list it, and it sells (BIN) immediately! I love it! They are really cute.

Thanks so much for looking today & I pray that you all have a wonderful day full of Blessings from God.

Penny
