Hi Everyone!

Gosh.. I'm so bad at blogging anymore. I'm sorry. Not having the internet at home really limits the time I have to do this.
This is really important though.
I'm shifting almost all my doll listings to Etsy. Ebay and I are just not getting along, and they take almost one third of my profits... so I'm trying Etsy again.
PLEASE, please, please check out my store. If you are one of my wonderful buyers and are checking in here on my Blog... there's a link over there on the right. Just click and you're there.
On Etsy I sell w/ the shipping included in the cost. It ends up saving you $$ and giving me a little bit more in my sooo empty pocket.

Thanks for letting me gripe and taking the time to drop by. I miss all the communication so much! (Facebook, blogging, everything!!)

Hope you all have a lovely Christmas. I'll try to get back on here before then.

Much love in Christ,
Penny

Hello Again...

Wow... time sure flies! I've been incredibly busy, but it almost feels like I'm just running in circles. Good thing that God loves us, no matter how down we feel, or how silly we can be.. at least I get that way.

Here's a few dollies I have on eBay.

Destinee Iddie Biddie Raggedy. Her ornie has a darling counted cross stitch that my daughter Chelle made.. of Pumpkins!

Millicent Tall Raggedy Annie. Her ornie says, "Sing Your Praise to the Lord". I just love her!

Ellie June & Crow. Her ornie says, "His Eye is on the Sparrow, and I know He watches Me!"

Adelicia T.T.I.B. (Teenie Tiny Iddie Biddie). She's only 4 1/2" tall. Such a big name for such a tiny dollie.

So happy that you've dropped by. I hope your Fall is wonderful. Here in Kansas, the leaves are turning so fast! The nights are chilly, sometimes cold. The days mostly are sunny and lovely.

God Bless You all!

I've been making Scarecrows, lots and lots of Scarecrows. You can find some now on eBay!

I hate to, but I've gotta to. I miss you all!

Springtime Sale at Miss Pootsie's Primitives

Hello again. It's been a while since I have posted...sorry. I'm still playing catch up, but I'm winning!
The Springtime Sale also begins this evening. I have MANY dolls listed w/ a beginning price of $4.77, & $5.77! Here's a few new items.

This is Marie Anne Bunny & little Pookie Bunny. Marie Anne's Apron is from a piece of a vintage linen dresser scarf, embroidered with blue flowers. Their listing will begin tonight on eBay.

Randy has been busy making very old looking Americana. This one is an Americana Shield (a common vintage patriotic icon)and it looks so old.

Faith & Hope go hand in hand, especially in the form of two tiny dolls. They are only 4 1/4 inches tall. This pair of TTIBs (Teenie Tiny Iddie Biddies) are just so cute together.

Connie Jo is a darling kittie, in fact she is an Iddie Biddie Kittie. She's very patriotic!

Gracie Belinda Cat has been gathering Eggs! Well, to be precise, one Egg... but it's all hers! She has a Dress made from a wonderful homespun plaid w/ images of Chickens all over it. Her Apron is made from a piece of very old Dresser Scarf, edged with cotton crochet lace and a little bit of Brown embroidery. She holds a little Galvanized Tin Basket with her Egg nestled in real Moss. Her listing will begin on eBay tomorrow.

If you want to check out all my items, including the SALES, just click on the link I have for eBay on the right sidebar.
I do have a prayer request for all of you. I have a friend in the Lord named Dani. She & her hubby have suffered through a house fire, and have lost so much. They are currently living in a Motel room until their house repairs are completed. Please pray for them? Thank you!

Praying for all of you, for comfort, for peace, and most of all for BLESSINGS!

Good Thursday to You!

Hello everyone! Hope this Thursday find you happy, healthy, and praising the Lord! I am! I have been so far behind with everything it's pathetic. Between our family moving, things getting lost, and H1N1 virus... it's been a terrible few weeks. I think I can begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel now though. Must be God!

First up is little Frankie Iddie Biddie Kittie. Her Ornie basically echoes the Prayer of Jabez, "God Bless Me Indeed".

Patty Sue Iddie Biddie is all in Navy homespun. Her Ornie says, "God Bless You".

Margie Lou Iddie Biddie Kittie is making the statement that I should state all the time, "More of Jesus, Less of Me". Her dress is made from one of my favorite fabrics of all time, it's a Mother Goose toile print in soft colors. So sweet!

Little Flora Iddie Biddie Kittie is wearing grubby Spring Green gingham check. Her Ornie says, "Praise God in the Storm". We have weathered many storms in our lifetimes, I'm sure you have too. God is always there, with you, holding you.

My prayer for you today is that you be very aware of God's presence in your day. I think that sometimes we miss Him, we are just so busy, so preoccupied. He just keeps coming back though... He is so faithful and loves us so much.

God Bless,
Penny

Hippity Hoppity Easters on its Way!

Hello everyone.. how are you all today? It's been rainy and gray here in Kansas today. Drizzle.. drop... when will it stop?
Easter is right around the corner, are you ready? I'm so happy to know that Jesus ROSE AGAIN.. He didn't stay in the grave.. He is alive still. Praise His Holy Name!

Alaina Sue is a cutie in homespun plaid. Her Ornie says, "I'm a Prim Gal".

Tiffany Michelle Iddie Biddie Kittie has the prettiest Blue Floral dress. Her Ornie says, "Live Love Laugh".

Heather Sue wears a Lt. Blue striped Seersucker dress w/ hand crocheted cotton lace trim. "Love Never Fails".

Jo Jo T.T.I.B. (Teenie Tiny Iddie Biddie) is only 4 inches tall.. she honestly fits in your hand. I think that TTIB's are really cute when worn as a brooch..so unique!

Minnie Lou has the sweetest little cotton summer dress top. Her Ornie says, "It is Well, It is Well, With My Soul"..just like the old hymn. Her auction starts Sunday, the 28th.

Thanks for looking today at my newest dollies. I have a request for all of you that are prayer warriors...
A very dear friend of mine (since childhood) found out this week that she has a tumor in her brain and her lung. I really don't know anything more than that, but please, PLEASE pray for her. Her name is Lisa and she loves the Lord with all her heart.
Thank you and God Bless,
Penny

Spring... HAH!

NOT here in Kansas for sure! We're having SNOW, SNOW, & more SNOW! Oh well, soon enough it will be Summer and we'll be begging for cool weather.
This is a pic I found of a Blizzard of 1888.. not sure where it was but ICK! It's not that bad here, but it feels like it!

This is Sable Cat.. she's a little doll in her Brown Toile dress. Her Ornie says, "Bless the Lord, Oh My Soul".. AMEN!

Little Effie Bunny is a breath of sweet Spring air! She wears a dress that's made from a Blue & Green Rabbit print, and is holding a tiny Bunny. (Effie already has a bid on her and I just listed her!!! Yaayyy & PTL).

Hope your weather is more 'Spring-like' where you live. May God bless and keep you and your Safe & Warm.

March Madness in Kansas

Mid March.... St. Patrick's Day.. hmmmm.

Did you all know that the Shamrock was chosen as a symbol for Ireland for a REASON?

According to what the Oxford English Dictionary calls "a late tradition" (first recorded in 1726), the plant was used by Saint Patrick to illustrate the doctrine of the Trinity. (Wikipedia)

Just think.. that cute little three leafed plant was chosen because it was like the Father (God), the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit of God. How interesting!

I stopped making St. Patty's dolls a while back, but they are so much fun. Here's what I've been working on lately.

This is Miranda. Her Ornie says, "Simplify". I should take her advice.

Charlene is dressed in a tiny Brown toile (love that fabric!). Her Ornie says, "Bless the Lord Oh My Soul".

Danielle is a tiny 8" Raggedy. She has the sweetest expression. I have a very sweet online friend by the same name.

Sally Anne Cat is wearing Brown plaid homespun and her Ornie has an applique that's a cross stitched lounging Cat...so cute.

Jillie Sue Cat has such a friendly temperament! Her Ornie says, "I Am So Blessed". Her dress is made from a Civil War Reproduction Print in Blue & Green trellis floral. If you look at the listing, be sure and check out that button on her bodice. It's so old, and I'd love to know more about it. I think it has an Art Deco look to it.

Must go for now. God Bless You all & thanks for stopping by.

Springtime in Kansas

Well today was a LOVELY day in Kansas. It reached up to almost 50 degrees! The sun was shining, sweet breezes, birds singing and happy... what a day. I'm afraid though that we're in for a rude awakening back into Winter temps. Oh well, I'll just be happy for this day.

More dollies to show you. Hope you enjoy them.

This is Gracie Mae Iddie Biddie... she says "God Bless You"

Louisa Dawn is only 7 1/2" tall, she's wearing all neutrals... very prim if you ask me. Her Ornie says, "Simplify".

Sweet 'Ums is just a breezy, sweet Springtime dollie. She also reminds us to "Simplify".

Morgan Alise Raggedy is such a sweetheart. She states on her Ornie, "I Am Loved".

Donnita Jo Iddie Biddie has a little friend... a Spring Chick. Her little dress is made from the cutest fabric, it's Navy Blue w/ tiny Yellow Chicks all over it.

If you get a moment, take a look at the bottom of this blog. I added a Slideshow of some photos of our home Decor. We have quite a collection of Primitives.. some old, some new.. all treasures.
God Bless you all,
Penny

Scriptures, Sisters, & Sweeties

Hello again. It's very early Saturday morning. Woke up with a scripture in my mind that has been present there for days. I'll share...

Trust in the Lord with all your heart & lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him & He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5

Why God is filling my brain with this particular scripture is a mystery and blessing all at the same time. I'm just going to thank Him for it and share it as often as possible. Praise His holy name.

We have had a short respite from SNOW, and I am very thankful for it. Here in Kansas we have had the wettest, whitest Winter on record.. for over 100 years. It's still COLD (morning temps have been below zero wind chills), but at least it's dry. The sun is a welcome sight. I'm sure in a few months we'll be wishing for a break from the HEAT.

Here's a few more dolls I have finished and listed on eBay.

This is Faith Noelle. Her Ornie is a Scripture..."I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me...".

Maizee Lou Cat is a sweet little feline. Her Ornie says, "Simplify".

Betsie Anne Bunny has a tiny woven Basket with speckled eggs, oh... and she also tells all to "Simplify".

Theresa has a beautiful dress that is made from some of the loveliest toile fabric I have ever seen. It's a Delft Blue print with tiny scenes of boating and play... probably from early in the 20th century. I had a wonderful friend of the same name that went home to be with the Lord years ago. We all miss her.

Last (but not least) I have a set of 2 Raggedy Sisters. Lisa & Kelly Raggedys are dressed alike, Kelly is smaller because she is the younger sister. I named them after two Sisters I have known since childhood.

I hope my post finds you happy, healthy, & basking in God's love.

Please come again,
Penny

Long time no see...

I'm so sorry I've been 'away' from my blog for so long. I could claim that it's because our family moved.. that was a hideous chore and did keep me away from the computer a while. I could say that I've just been so busy... well, that's true, busy with trying to make up for lost time making dolls. I'm almost back up to speed now though. I'm afraid that the biggest reason though is because I'm hooked on Facebook. Doggone it...so many friends there, so much to read, so much to do (games, etc.)... it's addicting. Hello... my name is Penny and I'm a Facebook addict!

How was your Valentine's Day? Our's was spent unpacking a mountain or two of boxes from our move. Ick.. not exactly romantic. I did make and sell a lot of Valentine's Day themed dolls though.

Now I'm making St. Patrick's Day dolls. Lots of Irish people out there, thank God!

Next will be Easter and bunnies have been on my creative menu already.

Here's a few dollies I have listed on eBay right now.

Ciaran Aberdeen (don't you just love her name??).

Sinead McGowan.. (another cool name).

Linda Jo Iddie Biddie Kittie.

Caroline Iddie Biddie Kittie

Tawnie Mae Raggedy & Trixie Sheep Her listing actually ends tonight (Wed. 2/24)

Thanks for dropping by. Missed you all and missed your sweet comments.
Oh.. I'm trying to put together a Blog Giveaway. Just have to set my mind to it, right? Would anyone like that?

God Loves us All!
