The Most Precious Thing...

Tonight after a long, frustrating day full of anger and feeling useless, God sent me this precious message. You see, I have not been able to use my left hand for several days due to complications of carpal tunnel problems. Somehow I injured it so badly that I have been in severe pain, and have not been able to make any dolls or do any crafting... not to speak of how hard it is to do the everyday things... like typing this for instance.

I went to check my eBay page and found this message. I haven't stopped crying and praising God since.

Hello Miss Penny!
My name is George and want to tell you how much of a fan I am of your work. I have been quite ill and in and out of the hospital for some time now. I was lucky enough to have won 3 of these darling little ones. I have them each saying Hope, Joy, and Love. I have a bag that I carry around with me and I have tucked my tiny friends in as a pick me up over the day. You are right, they will definitely bring a smile to any face! No matter how bad I may feel, I have those three simple words to remind me to hang in there. They truly do fill me with their sayings. I feel a bit more hopeful, I feel a bit of joy, and I know that I am loved whenever I see them.

George was referring to the little 'Pouch Babies' that I make. He has purchased 3 of them. I cannot begin to express my joy in hearing that God has used me and my silly little dolls to bring hope to someone. It was very humbling, believe me.

I can only stand in awe of God's infinite love for us and thank Him for that message
that George took the time to write. George... if you read this... THANK YOU and God Bless you.

From Autumn to Winter...we've got it all!

Hi everybody!

Hope your days are happy & your evenings restful and blessed.

I have been sick but busy. I sleep, then I wake up and sew, then start it all over again. To see the eBay listing for any of the following dolls, just click on the doll's name.

This first little dollie is so elegant and sweet. Jewel Cat is dressed in flannel that has been grunged, the effect is almost like velvet. Her Ornie says, "I Am So Blessed". She will star on eBay beginning tonight (9-8-09).

Twilight is a little Halloween Cat. She wears a dress adorned with Black vintage-y tinsel and holds a Carnival Stick with a JOL Pumpkin.

Poor little Hilda had a run in with a Headshrinker and now deals with a tiny head. She's happy with her little rag dollie though.

Crystal is a very sweet Snowgirl. She holds a Winter Bouquet in one hand and a Gingerbread Man in the other.

Randy has done it again! This Santa rides a Crow. Such lovely detail. His coat and hat are all embroidered around the edges. Isn't my husband talented?

Hope you have enjoyed our walk through Miss Pootsie's Dollie Land today. Come back and see us soon.

God Bless,
Penny

All on eBay right now!

This Harvest Pumpkin Door Greeter is only $2.77!

Molly Sue is a sweetie with a real, honest to goodness chalkboard!

Mirielle & Melissa Cats are ready to swim or enjoy the sun.. so cute!

Constance Dugood is a poor soul who is trapped, not only on earth, but in her tombstone. The poem on the gravestone is one that I saw on a real gravestone when I was a teen. It was an OLD cemetary out in the middle of nowhere!

This kindly Santa has sweet, soulful eyes and his pal Dasher!

Thanks for checking out my newest babies... have a WONDERFUL week!
