Primitive Christmas & Valentine's Day

Hi Everyone! Ready for Christmas yet? I love this time of year.

Have some new dollies that will be listed on eBay starting this evening.

Mattie Sue is a sweetie for every day of the year. She's holding a Christmas Stocking full of fragrant Sweet Annie, Cinnamon Sticks, and Burgundy Pip Berries... but... and here's the cool part... you can display her through Christmas w/ the Stocking, or remove the Stocking and let her shine all year long.

Lisa Marie is a prim charmer whose Ornie says, "I Sing Because I'm Free".

Samantha June is so sweet. She holds a Burgundy Heart Ornie & her Card Ornie says, "Love Is Kind"... BONUS Ornie!

Now Cupid Cat is ornery. She wanted to be Cupid... and just drove me crazy asking about it... so I gave in. She is really cute, Red dress, Quiver & little Red Heart tipped Arrows, real feather Wings, Heart Ornie, yep... cute!

God Bless you all... have a wonderful week!

It's Sunday

Hi Everyone! In my last post I stated that the weather forecast called for lots of snow, I believe I said... "...dumptruck of snow...", or something to that effect..LOL.

Well... the forecast was wrong. We received maybe an inch. Pretty, but drive-able.

Right now we're watching "White Christmas"... ahhh.. the memories. The Christmas Tree is sparkling, laden down with over three decades worth of Ornaments. The grandkids are drinking Hot Chocolate and watching "Independence Day" on a different t.v. Isn't that funny? They like the traditional Christmas movie just fine, but prefer something 'newer'. I tell them they are just lucky that the 'traditional' movie is in color!

I'm going to be posting several dolls tomorrow, they're ready! I just have to take the photos, size & embellish the photos, load them into Photobucket, load the templates w/ the photos and make the editing changes, then finally actually list the dolls. That's all...

Have a wonderful evening.
God Bless you all,
Penny

It's Tuesday... and Snowy

Welcome to Kansas.

Blustery wind, light snow now, dumptruck full of snow later... or at least that's what the Weather forecast says.
~Oh... the weather outside is frightful.. ~
that says it all.
Cute little Christmas Graphic... German I think.

Jenelle
says we should 'Simplify'.. have to agree w/ her. She is still $7.77 right now. Hope she sells for more.

Jen Marie is so cute in person. I made her pinafore from that Quilt Top like fabric I love so much. Her 'eyes' are a bit different than what I usually make. It made me laugh when I saw her face finished... that usually means they're cute.

Randy's Mrs. Claus is back on eBay as a relist. She will debut tonight (a.k.a., her listing will begin tonight). She is really nice in person too. I wish I could take better photos so everyone could see how beautiful she is.

Everyone have a lovely and SAFE day!

Newest Dolls

Sweet Christmas Graphic for your viewing or snagging pleasure!

Some little ladies that will start their time on eBay on Thursday evening.

This little doll is such a gigantic departure from my usual dolls... well, at least it seems that way to me..LOL. She absolutely cracked me up! What do you all think?
Also.. the fabric I used for her pinafore I found at Hancocks Fabrics on sale.. it's like different homespun plaids already quilted like a quilt top. I love it!

God Bless You All!

Oh yeah.... I forgot!

I almost forgot that I was going to post a new Christmas graphic every day this year. Hmmm... maybe I'll post one as often as possible, how's that? LOL

It's almost December!

Hello! It's late here in Kansas... let's see, oh.. around 12:35 am. Maybe it's early here... I don't know. Still up working.
I pray that everyone had a beautiful Thanksgiving. The weather was lovely here, family were all here, and food was plentiful. Praise God!
Kim (of Prims by Kim) commented on my last post about how trimming the Tree is the least of her worries. She says that it's keeping her cat & kiddo away from it will be the real trick. Reminds me of a story...LOL.

When we were young parents of three growing daughters we had a live tree for Christmas. We also had a cat.. a crazy, goofy, thought-he-was-a-spy-kitty, cat. He would sneak around on the prowl for some unsuspecting leg to stroll by and he would 'attack'. He didn't hurt anyone, just startled us mostly.
I was trying one morning to get everyone ready for work & day care. 'Chaos in the country' best describes the scene. Finally we are nearing departure when we hear that spy kitty come galloping across the room, hopped up on a chair and did an amazing feat of jumping smack dab into the middle of the poor Christmas Tree. He looked like a flying squirrel with his front and back legs all splayed out.
My three girls & I were literally at the door and turned to witness this. The cat, the tree, the ornaments, etc. went over, rolled off the table it was on, and flipped in the air. Everything crashed to the floor. The cat screeched and ran off.
I just shuffled my girls out the door and left the mess.
I don't recall that cat ever attempting to attack a Christmas Tree again.

For your viewing pleasure..

This is Lizzy Jo. Her listing will start tomorrow night (Mon.). She is one of my Iddie Biddie Dolls. Her Goose Gretchen is her feathered friend.

Megan is a sweetie with the cutest dress. I found some fabric that is actually quilted homespun plaids, very old looking. She's holding a Candy Cane that can easily be removed following Christmas. She would look prim and cute all year round.

Mrs. Claus is an elegant lady. Randy did such a beautiful job w/ this doll. The detail is amazing. He's a great sculptor.

Little Elmira June has a Crow tucked under her arm. They are 'buds'.

Nelda Sue will begin her stay at eBay on Tuesday evening. Another doll that you can display during the Winter Holidays, then remove the Christmas Tree & Cardinal and she's a prim darling. Her Ornie says, "Let the Church Arise".

Thanks so much for dropping by. Come back soon! We will miss you.

God Bless,
Penny

Christmas Countdown

Hi Everyone!

Have you put your Christmas tree up yet? So many people put theirs up on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Not us! Jordan (oldest granddaughter) reeeeeeeally wanted to, but we worked on dolls instead.
We're going to our youngest daughter and her sweet hubby's house tomorrow to trim their tree. We'll get ours up soon!

I love this season. I love the crisp, cold air. I love the skeletal trees and white skies. I love the Christmas lights & decorations. I love that my Daddy is with our Lord & Savior doing the ultimate Christmas celebrations! Still miss him though.

God Bless you all!

Happy Thanksgiving

I thank you Lord God for our country. The United States of America always has been YOURS God. My prayer is that it will always remain YOURS.

Hope you all have a lovely day with Family & Friends. Hope you eat too much, laugh too much, and love enough for the whole year ahead.

Georgia Cat has a lovely message on her little Ornie, "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." Rom. 10:17. Her dress is a really beautiful Blue Toile, and her little friend, Crow is in her kitty arms.

Santa Cat is the Cat of the Month for December. He is absolutely hilarious and darling. He is all dressed up like Santa... I tried to talk him out of it, but he just begged for a month to 'be' Santa, so I relented.

Shay Cat is all decked out for the holidays. Her dress & pinafore are made from some really cute Christmas-y fabric & she holds a Christmas Stocking just chock full of goodies.

Sparkle Snowgirl is my favorite Snowgirl that I have made this year. She is just beautiful and she sparkles!!! Mica flakes all over her!

God Bless you all and your loved ones. Enjoy the day!

I have listed two of my little Snowgirls on Etsy.

This is Minuet. She is really elegant & beautiful in person. Photos can never do her justice.

Little Serendipity Snowgirl is just darling in her Rose colored Organdy gown. I'm so partial to this tiny princess.

Winter is HERE...

It's cold, windy.... just a very 'blustery day' as Pooh would say. Just West of us in Kansas they're getting SNOW. Many of my online friends in the colder climates have already experienced that glittery joy!
I can wait for it... believe me.

Here's a few of our newest dolls. They will all be on eBay. Click on their names to see the listings.

This is Randy's newest Snowman. His name is Cedric and he is such a distinguished gentleman with his Monacle, Candy Cane Walking Stick, & his marvelous Tophat.

Bailee Iddie Biddie Kittie is a tiny sweetie. Her Ornie says, "What A Friend We Have In Jesus"... so, so true.

Annabelle Lee is an Americana Iddie Biddie Kittie!

Kittie Mae is ready to spread Christmas Cheer.

Be safe, warm & just glowing with happiness in our Lord!

Just want to share with you...

Hi everyone!

My Father In Law is currently in the hospital, so we would appreciate any prayers for him. He had a knee replacement surgery, but has had problems w/ blood pressure, etc. He's in ICU right now, and he should have been home. Bless his heart.

Angelle Cat is a sweetie. I made her little Apron from a portion of a Vintage Dresser Scarf w/ Blue Embroidered Flowers. Her Ornie says, "Love Lifted Me, Love Lifted Me. When Nothing Else Could Help, Love Lifted Me." Just love that old hymn.

Sherise Cat exclaims, "Bless the Lord, Oh My Soul". I just love her Slip, it has lace at the hem.

Raewyn Dawn is a little Raggedy with an Ornie that says, "It Is Well, It Is Well, With My Soul". I named her after one of my buyers who is such a nice lady.. I just love her name.

Finally Topaz is wearing a Brown dress and grubby Osnaburg Apron. Her Ornie says, "I Can Only Imagine"... of course it's from the Song by that title. Every time I hear it I think of my Daddy... I miss him so much.

Hope everyone is enjoying the weather today, no matter what it's like where you live. I sold a doll to a buyer in Latvia.. I had to look it up to find out where it is... in Eastern Europe, across a Sea from Sweden. From what Wikipedia showed, it looked beautiful.

God Bless you all,
Penny

I'm so proud of these...

Happy Tuesday! God is Good... He is on the Throne! Praise Him!

Wanted to share my newest Snowgirl & Randy's newest doll.

This is Minuet Snowgirl. She is listed on eBay right now. I made her dress from a Vintage Lace Baby Dress. I think she is just so elegant and beautiful. Check out the listing by clicking on her name.

Randy made this delightful Scrooge. I think he is absolutely handsome. He has real (metal frames, plastic lenses) eyeglasses, and a leather bound Ledger. Check him out!

Randy also made this darling Maude Cat & her Mousie. The Ornie says, "Got Mouse?".

God Bless you all!

Here's a few of the 17 dolls we have listed on eBay right now.

Terrie Cat is a sweetie whose Ornie says, "AMEN".

Marion & Manet Sheep proclaim that, "The Lord is My Shepherd". Manet Sheep has little Cinnamon Stick legs.

Daniella Cat's Ornie says, "I Will Trust in the Lord"... my most stated prayer!

Chrissie Anne is an Iddie Biddie Kittie. She's only 7" tall, and her Ornie says, "Let Go + Let God".

I also have my very first E-Pattern listed on Etsy. Hope you check it out. I plan on making many more.

Thanks for looking at my dollies! They love the attention. I pray for all of you that you have a fantastic week.
