I Just Love This Little Lamb!

I can't help it!

I think she is so sweet. She is much cuter in person.

She DIDN'T SELL on eBay!

So...I moved her to my Olde Primitive Sisters Marketplace Shop. Do you all think she's cute?

Hope she sells there! Here's the link if you'd like to visit my shop.

I'm working on a little Angel Lamb right now...so sweet! I'll be selling more Whimsy Lambs very, very soon!

God Bless you all,

My Six Word "MEME" Memoir

My Sweet, Crazy, Beautiful, Diverse, Forgiving, Multi-Talented, Mommy Friend Bebe (of Off The Beaten Path Designs) tagged me! You can check out her blog here:

You have to pick six (6) words that sum up your life. I guess it is kind of like writing your own obit that you would like to have read at your funeral! Mobid thought, isn't it? Ernest Hemingway was bet $10 that he couldn't sum up his life in six words. He won that bet when he wrote, "For sale, baby shoes, never worn."
So, here is the low down if you get tagged this go round...1. Write your own six word memoir...2. Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you’d like...3. Link to the person that tagged you in your post and to this original post if possible, so we can track it as it travels across the blogosphere...4. Tag Four more blogs with links ...5. Remember to leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play!

Okay, here goes...
Forgiven, Loving, Wife, Mother, Grammy, Artistic/Creative... I think that's me.
1. Forgiven:
PhotobucketI am a Christian, first and foremost. If God had not forgiven me of my sins and sent his Son Jesus to die on the cross in my place, I would be lost. I'm nothing without my Lord.
2. Loving:
PhotobucketI am a very loving person.
3. Wife:

I've been married to the same man for 32 years. I'm proud that we still love each other. The road has been hard at times, but so worth it.

4. Mother:

God blessed us with three wonderful daughters, the first two twins.

5. Grammy:

I'm the Grammy of two beautiful grandaughters, Jordan (12) and Randi (9). This is a photo of (l. to r.) My Daddy, my brother John, my Momma, my other brother David, me, and my little Grandma.

6. Artistic/Creative:

I'm blessed with the ability to recreate what I see, or what I imagine. There's no higher compliment than to be complimented by a fellow artist.
Ok... I hope I've done okay with this post. Gosh, it took FOREVER! Let's see.. who will I pick? I think I'll post that later!
Love you all... have a lovely day.

New Dollies...

Good Morning Everyone! Hope your Sunday is just wonderful!

I am listing a few dolls today on eBay. You can click on my main banner at the top of the page or the smaller banner down a ways on the left to see all of my eBay listings.

Naomi... a little Autumn doll. I just love that time of year, and even without her ornie she fits in perfect in a prim setting.

Barb... what a little doll! She has a long braid in the back, and the cutest little grungy dress w/ spring chicks!

Cyndi. She's got a tiny belly button and lots of prim frills and ruffles.

Then there is Ubie (pronounced 'yoo-bee') Pig. She is so adorable.. it's hard to see how cute she is from this photo.

Thanks for looking today and God Bless You and Yours!

Precious People Doing Sweet Things...

Good Morning everyone!
It's early here. I'm up before the birds today. To my surprise I found a comment on my last post. I was given an award, from two people at the same time! WHAT AN HONOR!
I think it's called the Special Artist Award. Many thanks to:
Shirley
Donna
Now, it's my understanding that when you're given this award, you are supposed to pass it on to three people? Hmmm... let's see... Okay, the following three people have touched my heart, awakened my whimsy, and sweetened my life.
Cora
Naomi
Dani
It's Saturday! It's rainy, cold, blustery, and just downright soggy here today. Some sunshine would certainly be welcome. I have four dolls finished and ready to list on the ole 'bay on Sunday, but I'm not sure if I'll get any outdoor shots this time. Too wet! May just have to settle for dark photos.
Hope everyone has a lovely day. Whatever you do, include Jesus... then it will be wonderful!

What should I DO WITH THESE GUYS?

Good Morning. It's rainy again here in Kansas. We're expecting some strong storms today, so we'll batten down the hatches with PRAISE, reinforce the timbers with FAITH, and ride the storm out with JESUS!

Anybody remember these guys? I made them last year, fell in love with them, decided to sell them, listed them... and they never sold. Of course I was asking a fair price, because there was just way too much work in them to let them go for a small price.

Here's the thing... (<----that's a phrase that my 9yr old grandaughter Randi uses continuously!) I was thinking about listing them again, or maybe it would be better to place them for sale on Etsy or somewhere else. I was also toying w/ the idea of removing the watches and re-naming them to something besides 'The Timekeepers'. That photo is one I took before I had completely finished them. On the base are the pieces of what ended up being kind of a little 'museum plaque' that has their name on it.

HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHAT ELSE TO DO W/ THEM, ok? I welcome all suggestions! Their clothing has some elements of winter or Christmas, but they wouldn't have to be confined to that.

Everyone have a lovely day and help me w/ some suggestions!

Blessings to you from our Lord and Savior!

Extreme Primitive Doll Give-A-Way

Hello again! I thought it might be fun to do another give-a-way. This is little Belle. She's a patriotic little lady with red yarn hair, a Star Ornie, and lots of embroidery on her clothes!

If you'd like to have Belle... please leave a comment on our GTPF Blog. I posted the same message there. Just tell me you'd love to have Belle come live with you. Here's a link to the blog.

This Give-A-Way will end next Tuesday, April 8th at midnight Central Time. Please post by then. I will have my grandaughter Randi draw a name out of a bowl. The lucky winner will be notified by a new post on the GTPF blog on Wednesday, April 9, so check back to see if you've won!

Thanks for all the lovely comments left for me. There are so many wonderful people that God has brought my way through this blog. Thanks to one and all, and good luck!!! Penny
**********Important Info. About Blog Giveaways**************
From this point on, when I host a giveaway on my blog, I will need to disclude any international readers from entry. I simply cannot afford the shipping! It truly saddens me, but it is hard reality. I hope that this announcement does not EVER effect any international readers from reading, enjoying, and commenting on my blog! You are all important to me.
