The Peace of God

Philippians 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

In this world there are many things that attack our sense of well being and safety. God never promised that we as Christians wouldn't go through hard times, or scary times, He just promised that He would never leave us or forsake us.

I STAND ON THAT PROMISE.

God's peace transcends our worldly concerns, it's beyond our understanding, and He gives it freely.

My prayer for you today is to receive that PEACE in Jesus' name.

Blessings,
Penny

Little Nicole Raggedy is still on eBay, but the listing ends today. I love that Ladybug fabric! Her message is simple, "God Loves You".

Thank you for all your prayers throughout the storms last night. Tornadoes touching down all over the place, but we were spared. PTL!!!

Two Found Faces

I was reading The Cart Before the Horse's Blog the other day and ran across a fun thing they are doing. Here's the excerpt from their blog:

Ever see faces in decidedly unnatural objects? I see 'em all the time, and so does MyrtleandEunice who has prompted this gathering of faces from most unlikely places. Here are her rules:

1. Absolutely, under no circumstances do ‘put together’ faces fit the bill, no matter how ‘casually’ features seem to ‘circumstantially’ happen together. I am so on to that.

2. Faces found while standing sideways or on one’s head are absolutely and clearly acceptable – and extra brownie points for spotting them the wrong way up in the first instance.

Ok... so I was intrigued! Hmmm.. I started looking around everywhere for faces. I found two right off the bat very near the computer. Here they are.

This one I had to turn upside down, but there's definitely a face. I think he's trying to say... "Helllloooooooooooooooo".

And this one, oh my... the photo is terrible, my apologies. This little guy just looks robotic to me, but he has a cheerful smile.

Well... that was fun. Think I'll go look for some more. You all give it a try. I'm off to tell Jo all about it..hehee.

Happy Easter

Jesus Is Lord!

That's me and my sweet Daddy in 1955, I was almost 3 yrs old. I miss him so much. He went home to be with the Lord a few years ago. Can you imagine the Easter celebration in Heaven???

I think this was the next Easter with my sweet Momma. I miss her too, she's in Arkansas. A very wonderful and loving Mother.

I pray that you all have a blessed Easter. May God's perfect Son shine on you.

Please, if you read this come back and add another post w/ your info. You just never know..you could be the winner and I'd have no way to tell you. That would be so sad.

You all take care now!

Wanna Win A Bunny?

Hello again! Hope all of you are feeling well & praising our Lord today! I am! You know though... I am SO SORE! Let me explain...

I am 55 years old and almost NEVER get any exercise, unless you count walking through the house or doing laundry or clicking the t.v. remote. ~SIGH~

Yesterday my youngest Granddaughter and I had to walk to my oldest Granddaughter's Middle School and walk her home. I don't know how far it was, but I was practically in tears by the time we were about a third of the way there. I had no idea how out of shape I was/am. It was just awful. Today I'm so sore I can't hardly move. I feel like I'm 100 years old. But I'm STILL Praising the Lord!!!

K... 'nuff about that!

On a lighter note, I'm doing a GIVEAWAY!!!... or maybe I should say WE are doing a Giveaway. Randy (DH) made a darling, prim Rabbit doll and we've decided to give it away on my blog. She is perfect for Easter, but could be displayed through Spring & Summer...or even all year if you choose. Her name is Abbie. She has an Easter Basket full of colorful eggs, but she's just holding it. You could take it out of her little Bunny hand if you wish. Here's a couple of photos.

All you have to do to enter the Giveaway is post a comment. I think it would be a HOOT if any of you that are as out of shape as I am told me so in your comment. Then I wouldn't feel so bad... hehee. I will draw a name out of the hat (literally.. Randy's hat!) on Friday, April 10th, and will post the winner's name that day, so please get your comments posted BEFORE then, like the last day will be Thursday, the 9th. I know that's not much time, but going fast like this will shorten the suspense time!

I'm sorry, but I must confine this giveaway to the U.S. only. Just cannot afford the postage for international friends.

Blessings to all of you from God!

Penny
