Hippity Hoppity Easters on its Way!

Hello everyone.. how are you all today? It's been rainy and gray here in Kansas today. Drizzle.. drop... when will it stop?
Easter is right around the corner, are you ready? I'm so happy to know that Jesus ROSE AGAIN.. He didn't stay in the grave.. He is alive still. Praise His Holy Name!

Alaina Sue is a cutie in homespun plaid. Her Ornie says, "I'm a Prim Gal".

Tiffany Michelle Iddie Biddie Kittie has the prettiest Blue Floral dress. Her Ornie says, "Live Love Laugh".

Heather Sue wears a Lt. Blue striped Seersucker dress w/ hand crocheted cotton lace trim. "Love Never Fails".

Jo Jo T.T.I.B. (Teenie Tiny Iddie Biddie) is only 4 inches tall.. she honestly fits in your hand. I think that TTIB's are really cute when worn as a brooch..so unique!

Minnie Lou has the sweetest little cotton summer dress top. Her Ornie says, "It is Well, It is Well, With My Soul"..just like the old hymn. Her auction starts Sunday, the 28th.

Thanks for looking today at my newest dollies. I have a request for all of you that are prayer warriors...
A very dear friend of mine (since childhood) found out this week that she has a tumor in her brain and her lung. I really don't know anything more than that, but please, PLEASE pray for her. Her name is Lisa and she loves the Lord with all her heart.
Thank you and God Bless,
Penny

Spring... HAH!

NOT here in Kansas for sure! We're having SNOW, SNOW, & more SNOW! Oh well, soon enough it will be Summer and we'll be begging for cool weather.
This is a pic I found of a Blizzard of 1888.. not sure where it was but ICK! It's not that bad here, but it feels like it!

This is Sable Cat.. she's a little doll in her Brown Toile dress. Her Ornie says, "Bless the Lord, Oh My Soul".. AMEN!

Little Effie Bunny is a breath of sweet Spring air! She wears a dress that's made from a Blue & Green Rabbit print, and is holding a tiny Bunny. (Effie already has a bid on her and I just listed her!!! Yaayyy & PTL).

Hope your weather is more 'Spring-like' where you live. May God bless and keep you and your Safe & Warm.

March Madness in Kansas

Mid March.... St. Patrick's Day.. hmmmm.

Did you all know that the Shamrock was chosen as a symbol for Ireland for a REASON?

According to what the Oxford English Dictionary calls "a late tradition" (first recorded in 1726), the plant was used by Saint Patrick to illustrate the doctrine of the Trinity. (Wikipedia)

Just think.. that cute little three leafed plant was chosen because it was like the Father (God), the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit of God. How interesting!

I stopped making St. Patty's dolls a while back, but they are so much fun. Here's what I've been working on lately.

This is Miranda. Her Ornie says, "Simplify". I should take her advice.

Charlene is dressed in a tiny Brown toile (love that fabric!). Her Ornie says, "Bless the Lord Oh My Soul".

Danielle is a tiny 8" Raggedy. She has the sweetest expression. I have a very sweet online friend by the same name.

Sally Anne Cat is wearing Brown plaid homespun and her Ornie has an applique that's a cross stitched lounging Cat...so cute.

Jillie Sue Cat has such a friendly temperament! Her Ornie says, "I Am So Blessed". Her dress is made from a Civil War Reproduction Print in Blue & Green trellis floral. If you look at the listing, be sure and check out that button on her bodice. It's so old, and I'd love to know more about it. I think it has an Art Deco look to it.

Must go for now. God Bless You all & thanks for stopping by.

Springtime in Kansas

Well today was a LOVELY day in Kansas. It reached up to almost 50 degrees! The sun was shining, sweet breezes, birds singing and happy... what a day. I'm afraid though that we're in for a rude awakening back into Winter temps. Oh well, I'll just be happy for this day.

More dollies to show you. Hope you enjoy them.

This is Gracie Mae Iddie Biddie... she says "God Bless You"

Louisa Dawn is only 7 1/2" tall, she's wearing all neutrals... very prim if you ask me. Her Ornie says, "Simplify".

Sweet 'Ums is just a breezy, sweet Springtime dollie. She also reminds us to "Simplify".

Morgan Alise Raggedy is such a sweetheart. She states on her Ornie, "I Am Loved".

Donnita Jo Iddie Biddie has a little friend... a Spring Chick. Her little dress is made from the cutest fabric, it's Navy Blue w/ tiny Yellow Chicks all over it.

If you get a moment, take a look at the bottom of this blog. I added a Slideshow of some photos of our home Decor. We have quite a collection of Primitives.. some old, some new.. all treasures.
God Bless you all,
Penny

Scriptures, Sisters, & Sweeties

Hello again. It's very early Saturday morning. Woke up with a scripture in my mind that has been present there for days. I'll share...

Trust in the Lord with all your heart & lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him & He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5

Why God is filling my brain with this particular scripture is a mystery and blessing all at the same time. I'm just going to thank Him for it and share it as often as possible. Praise His holy name.

We have had a short respite from SNOW, and I am very thankful for it. Here in Kansas we have had the wettest, whitest Winter on record.. for over 100 years. It's still COLD (morning temps have been below zero wind chills), but at least it's dry. The sun is a welcome sight. I'm sure in a few months we'll be wishing for a break from the HEAT.

Here's a few more dolls I have finished and listed on eBay.

This is Faith Noelle. Her Ornie is a Scripture..."I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me...".

Maizee Lou Cat is a sweet little feline. Her Ornie says, "Simplify".

Betsie Anne Bunny has a tiny woven Basket with speckled eggs, oh... and she also tells all to "Simplify".

Theresa has a beautiful dress that is made from some of the loveliest toile fabric I have ever seen. It's a Delft Blue print with tiny scenes of boating and play... probably from early in the 20th century. I had a wonderful friend of the same name that went home to be with the Lord years ago. We all miss her.

Last (but not least) I have a set of 2 Raggedy Sisters. Lisa & Kelly Raggedys are dressed alike, Kelly is smaller because she is the younger sister. I named them after two Sisters I have known since childhood.

I hope my post finds you happy, healthy, & basking in God's love.

Please come again,
Penny
