Wanna Win A Bunny?

Hello again! Hope all of you are feeling well & praising our Lord today! I am! You know though... I am SO SORE! Let me explain...

I am 55 years old and almost NEVER get any exercise, unless you count walking through the house or doing laundry or clicking the t.v. remote. ~SIGH~

Yesterday my youngest Granddaughter and I had to walk to my oldest Granddaughter's Middle School and walk her home. I don't know how far it was, but I was practically in tears by the time we were about a third of the way there. I had no idea how out of shape I was/am. It was just awful. Today I'm so sore I can't hardly move. I feel like I'm 100 years old. But I'm STILL Praising the Lord!!!

K... 'nuff about that!

On a lighter note, I'm doing a GIVEAWAY!!!... or maybe I should say WE are doing a Giveaway. Randy (DH) made a darling, prim Rabbit doll and we've decided to give it away on my blog. She is perfect for Easter, but could be displayed through Spring & Summer...or even all year if you choose. Her name is Abbie. She has an Easter Basket full of colorful eggs, but she's just holding it. You could take it out of her little Bunny hand if you wish. Here's a couple of photos.

All you have to do to enter the Giveaway is post a comment. I think it would be a HOOT if any of you that are as out of shape as I am told me so in your comment. Then I wouldn't feel so bad... hehee. I will draw a name out of the hat (literally.. Randy's hat!) on Friday, April 10th, and will post the winner's name that day, so please get your comments posted BEFORE then, like the last day will be Thursday, the 9th. I know that's not much time, but going fast like this will shorten the suspense time!

I'm sorry, but I must confine this giveaway to the U.S. only. Just cannot afford the postage for international friends.

Blessings to all of you from God!

Penny

What an adorable bunny! Thanks for hosting a giveaway. I am woefully out of shape too and it shows :( Summer is coming and I need to kick myself into dieting and exercising once again. Take it easy and don't be so hard on yourself!

OO I feel your pain. I didnt realize how out of shape I was until I had my youngest. Shes 2 now the difference between her and my last kid is 6 years. Well we were sledding last week and I got up the hill about 3 times before I needed to take a break. And it took me forever to get up the hill, my other kids were just running past me calling me a slow poke. LOL

What a Wonderful giveaway Penny!!
She is just so sweet......please enter my name into the drawing!
Hubby did a Beautiful job on her!!!

Sorry you're so sore and you're not alone! I have had 4 major back surgeries, the last being June 07 and I am now fused from L1-S1......to my sacrum! It's hard some days to get out and do my walking or do my exercises and hit the treadmill, but I have an 8 yr. old to keep up with and that keeps me going + the fact that I don't want to end up back in bed cause I haven't kept up with what the Dr. wants me to do.......keep moving!

Some days I just don't wanna! LOL
Keeping you in my prayers!

Hugs and Blessings,
Wendy

I hear you, I feel the same way lately.
I am active during the summer, but have done nothing but crafts all winter. I need to get out and start taking walks to get going again and build up my endurance.

The bunny is adorable.

Penny, I just LOVE that rabbit! Everything you guys create is so wonderful, so please enter my name into the hat!!!!!

And believe me, I was aching for you as you told about your walk! I'm probably the most out of shape as I haven't done a thing in almost a year now. Pushing the vacuum is even a killer for me! Buster would be thrilled if I started doing a little walking. Mind you, I said the word, "LITTLE!"

Penny,

First, thanks for visiting my blog and snagging the "Buy Handmade" banner. I'm glad you like it!

And yes, please enter me in your giveaway! Such a cute bunny ~ great job DH!

Out of shape? I know exactly how you feel. We've been doing yard work for the past couple weeks and that works muscles you didn't even know you had! A couple of Aleve at bedtime helps. LOL!

Love your Blog! Feel right at home here, wait, I must go get a cup of tea and visit for awhile, ok how about all day... I also am a Christian and love the LORD with all my heart and and so glad I can say that right out loud! Ok you asked for it, so here it is, my out of shape story. I decided to get in shape, it's been a long winter here in Maine,(we still have some snow). So I went to play volleyball last Wednesday and all was going well but to make a long story shorter by far. I have been on crutches ever since and that really cramps my style. Don't want to wear out my welcome so must say love the pattern and hobble home. Thank You for lisening to me complain, eveyone else is really tired of hearing me...

Oh my, I would love to win your bunny, Penny. Would you like me to post about her on my blog? I would be happy to if you'd like but I know some folks prefer not. Just let me know.

And about being out of shape. Penny, I'm 43 and decided to volunteer walking horses at therapy program for children. It took only ONE day for me to designated as official cookie lady because my legs just gave out. I was so embarrassed. Oh well, cookies are good too I guess.

Hang in there sweetie!
Blessings,
Lea

Penny, what a precious bunny. I would dearly love to own her. Please sign me up. I hear you girl. I recently had to help with some babysitting and after carrying around some 25lb+ plus sweeties it took me several days to walk without cringing. It was worth it. It is just hard to realize we can't do what we use to. Take it slow and easy. Blessings. Judy
