Tonight after a long, frustrating day full of anger and feeling useless, God sent me this precious message. You see, I have not been able to use my left hand for several days due to complications of carpal tunnel problems. Somehow I injured it so badly that I have been in severe pain, and have not been able to make any dolls or do any crafting... not to speak of how hard it is to do the everyday things... like typing this for instance.
I went to check my eBay page and found this message. I haven't stopped crying and praising God since.
Hello Miss Penny!
My name is George and want to tell you how much of a fan I am of your work. I have been quite ill and in and out of the hospital for some time now. I was lucky enough to have won 3 of these darling little ones. I have them each saying Hope, Joy, and Love. I have a bag that I carry around with me and I have tucked my tiny friends in as a pick me up over the day. You are right, they will definitely bring a smile to any face! No matter how bad I may feel, I have those three simple words to remind me to hang in there. They truly do fill me with their sayings. I feel a bit more hopeful, I feel a bit of joy, and I know that I am loved whenever I see them.
George was referring to the little 'Pouch Babies' that I make. He has purchased 3 of them. I cannot begin to express my joy in hearing that God has used me and my silly little dolls to bring hope to someone. It was very humbling, believe me.
I can only stand in awe of God's infinite love for us and thank Him for that message
that George took the time to write. George... if you read this... THANK YOU and God Bless you.
Penny

wow, thats amazing!!
how truly awesome our God is...just when you needed some encouragement....
“Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” (Romans 5:3-4)
I am praying for your hands..for less pain and more strength..
Penny,
That is so wonderful to know that what you create with God's gift, touches someone's life so deeply. Your creations make us smile and keep the message of his love in our hearts.
Debbie
