The Fruit of the Spirit is...

Galatians 5:22-23. This little sweetie is named Elana. She is holding 9 ornies, one for each of the Fruits of the Spirit.





I tried something a bit different with this doll. I call her the Blue Pumpkin Sprite. She's riding a Polka Dot Bunny. The whole thing is in various light blues & chocolate brown.




Randy has made another darling Angel doll. Her name is Lillie Angel and her hands are in praying position. Her Ornie says, "John 14: 6" (Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.").




I've managed somehow to make another TTIB doll that's only 4" tall! Her name is Maralie. Her Ornie says, "Sing".

Hello again. I cannot believe it's Thursday already. It's amazing how fast the time goes. And... I don't know if you all have found this to be true, but for me...the older I get, the faster it goes. *sigh*

On a lighter note, this is Mercedes. Her Ornie says, "Life's a bowl of cherries."

Fun Game...

Finally, this is just a hilarious old photo. I ran across it one day and just saved it.. not sure why. Just so I could have something to make me giggle.

First... this is Marguerite Cat. She's #2 in my Collectors Series of Cat of the Month. She's for July, but I've listed her ahead of time so the lucky buyer can have her for the whole month of July. Next we have a TTIB (Teenie Tiny Iddie Biddie) named Queenie. She's a mere 4 inches tall. She has a tiny black tulle slip.



Marsha, Marsha, Marsha...! heehee Marsha is this little frog's name. Her dress is a beautiful Pink Toile (for all you toile fans out there...like me!).



Ok.. bringing up the rear is a sweet Iddie Biddie Kittie named Deena Marie. She is #1 in my Collectors Series of Iddie Biddie Cat of the Month. Her listing will start tonight as well.

Happy Father's Day

My sweet Daddy has been with the Lord Jesus for quite a few years now, but I miss him so much I ache. Father's Day is kind of hard for me, but I try to 'keep my chin up' and help my daughters and granddaughters make it a wonderful time for my husband.

Here's a couple of photos of me and my Dad waaaay back when.

This is Rosie Sue. She is the smallest doll I have ever made!!! I think... LOL
No kidding, she's only 4 inches tall.


Here is Cara Frog. She's a cutie pie. She does NOT frequent lily pads and NEVER eats insects..ick!


And finally this is Jamie. She is named after one of my best friends that I have known for uhhh...let's see... well, for 40 years anyway. I miss her. Jamie has a rather large Ornie with one of my favorite scriptures (Ps.103:12).

Kansas Weather!

Okay.. ENOUGH ALREADY!!! It is JUNE...it's supposed to be Summer...dry, hot, etc. But NOOOO... not here in Kansas. This is what we've been experiencing.


Yesterday was such a mess! We had 4 1/2 inches of rain in just a couple of hours. Tons of lightning, wind, and hail. Luckily (PTL) the tornadoes stayed away.


The hail we had was brief and not nearly as large as in this photo, but it's still scary. I was at the grocery store when it hit. The building has a metal roof and believe you me, it was LOUD. We ended up with pea size, marble size, and some quarter size. Yep, dents in the car!


After the storm was OVER, we were beginning to relax, and BOOM.. we have a lightning strike in our back yard! It struck a power pole and mercy... you know the 'arcing' sound when a transformer is hit??? Well, it did that 3 times. A big greenish ball of what I guess was energy pulsed at the top of the pole, then huge sprays of sparks flew in all directions. Scared us to bits!
We called 911, the fire dept. came and looked at it. They just said that they would report it to the elec. company.
Then... later we see a police car pull up out front. We go look out back and there's a fire going in the tree whose branches were touching the lines going to the pole that was struck. The fire dept. were back. They said it would just burn itself out and they would (again) report it to the elec. company. A big limb finally burnt through and it dropped on our side of the fence. Everything was so wet from all the rain that it went out.
God was watching over us, He REIGNS!

More Sweet Dollies!

Hello everyone! Hope you're having a LOVELY weekend!

Wanted to share with all of you because if I don't these little innocent looking girls will pester me. They might look like sweet primitive dolls, but they're really a menagerie of ornery-ness (Is that a word?).

The cats and the bunny talk behind each other's backs, and the three little prim girls tell me that they, "... just wanna have fun." They are all listed on eBay this week. Click on their names to see the listing.

This is Prudence & her Crow. (If you ask me I think the Crow is really the ringleader).


Here is Kathleen Iddie Biddie Kittie. She does not ever shed but loves to take long soaking baths.


Pootsie and Lil Anne are inseparable (not really, she's just holding her...). I think she looks so old, but actually they have just had a rough life in the arms of an adoring child. Darling Hubby Randy made them. I really love them.


Lola Iddie Biddie Kittie just LOVES to gossip. Her favorite time of year is Fall, she even has a little pumpkin 'bag' she carries.


This is Bernice Raggedy. She loves the Lord Jesus and likes to tell everyone she meets. She doesn't ever say anything bad about anyone.


Destiney Bunny is a sweetheart, but she loves to tease and play practical jokes, the little stinker!


I hope you all enjoyed meeting them. Now maybe they will settle down and stop complaining that I don't talk about them.
